We’re the only organization solely dedicated to enforcing Alberta’s animal protection laws all over Alberta — working in every corner of the province to prevent harm through education, advocacy and on-the-ground enforcement.
Animal Protection
Our peace officers investigate distress across the province and provide animal caregivers with information to properly care for their animals.
Pet Safekeeping
Provides safe shelter and compassionate care through our Pet Safekeeping Program for animals whose guardian is entering a shelter due to family violence.
Education programs
Develop educational resources for teachers promoting the humane treatment of animals.
